Refrigerators & Roaches-It’s worth a look

Do you pull out the refrigerator when you service a home? I’ll admit I don’t do this every time and hardly ever on regular maintenance where there is no real problem. Having said that, if you have or suspect german roaches there is probably no better thing you can do for your treatment. Besides roaches, earwigs, mice, spiders and just about any pest you can think of can and will hide behind this big and undisturbed oasis of your kitchen.

It’s A Perfect World

If you think of it, the refrigerator is it’s own mini environment that has everything a roach could ever need. Warmth from the motor, protection from sprays, water from the condensation tray and you can’t get any closer to the food. Now I realize the older units aren’t to easy to budge but in the last few years it seems they’ve made these things so efficient that they seem to just glide out for easy maintenance. So, if you’ve don’t routinely pull out the fridge, maybe it’s time to give it a try. You’re german roach jobs will improve tremendously.

Oh and for you hardcore techs or those who just like gross pictures and videos. Follow this link for my video on Infested Refrigerators and What To Do About Them. You’ll get your fill of gross 😉
