All Bugs On Deck-Exterior Pest Control Using Dusts

There’s a great philosophy in pest control that goes like this; Kill the bugs outside & you won’t need to kill them inside. Sounds like pretty good advice. There are always critters scouting around your home looking for a way in and believe me, it’s not very difficult to find on most homes. While pest proofing is also an excellent strategy using caulks, weather stripping or other sealing methods don’t forget about your exterior pest control barrier. It’s a great line of defense that can be so effective and it can be applied in areas where pests may build up away from the home and this allows you to keep bug ‘pressures’ low.

One of my favorite places to treat is wood decks. Not on top of the wood mind you but underneath where all the bug action is. Decks offer pests a protective place to hide, easy access and it’s usually moist as well. Earwigs, roaches, wasps and even snakes take advantage of this prime real estate but if populations get to big- you guessed, they start looking for a new place to call home and so often this is your house.

Take a minute and see what is I believe the most effective, easy and quickest way to treat any deck for longer lasting pest control.
