Ever get to a termite job, unpack and plug in your big drill only then to see that you’ll be drilling through a tiled floor? To make matters worse the sales weasel, eh,emm, I mean sales professional…. didn’t even tell them that you’d have to treat that area by using a HAMMER drill.

We all run into surprises from time to time and trying to explain to a customer you may damage something in their home ‘after the fact’ is not always pleasant. Well, this tip may not prevent a tile from chipping or cracking but, it’ll at least improve your odds of leaving the home relatively unscathed.

    Heres another tip. Turn the hammer off and drill through the tile first, then turn the hammer back on.
