I've heard that spearmint gum has been used for alot of pests. Unfortunately it's not effective for anything other than bad breath. Bay leaves however will deter ants and some pests but be careful as it is highly toxic to pets such as dogs. I'm not aware of bay leaves for stored product pest relief but I kinda doubt it as some of those pests listed eat tobbaco. Niccotine was once used as a very effective pesticide. So I'm not inclined to think so. You've done everthing right it sounds like to me. 90% of the time that will be the last you see of them. If it does flair up again simply repeat the process. You may want to at that time treat the area you found them with 'Gentrol' aersol. Most do it yourself pest control stores sell it.
Thanks for reading and for your comment.
Good Luck
