High Priced Useless Termite Tools?

What would you say would be the perfect termite inspection tool? Of course it would have to be 100% right? No false positives, never a possibility of something else that triggered it- inexpensive is a given and it would have to be durable. Well that’s a pretty good start but I ask you. Is there any ONE TOOL that fits this bill?

In this hi-tech world where we have gadgets for everything I’m sorry to say that there is no ‘silver bullet’ gizmo that absolutely fills the above description of the perfect termite detection tool. BELIEVE ME I WISH THIS WASN’T TRUE! One reason is of course because I’d find more termites and make more money- The other reason is because I wouldn’t have spent so much money on all these different devices that should have helped me but in the end have proven not 100% and even completely useless even when I already know the termites are present. Now don’t misunderstand me- there are times when these tools have worked and aided me greatly. This is just to illustrate they’re not fool proof and shouldn’t be relied on as a stand alone technique or method of finding subterranean termites.

The following are a few videos I took where I used these tools on an active infestation and you might be surprised and/or discouraged by the results.I’m not done with shooting all of them so watch for more. Also I’d love to hear about your tools you may have and hopefully a success story or two.
