We had an exterminator out and it was confirmed it is bird mites. Now we are treating the house and cars for it. In the meantime I found the Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth worked great! hopefully after keeping that up and the spray it will be gone. I am wondering if the major infestation is actually in the car since we are in the car so much. We will have to do some research on that

The patent on Fipronil (Termidor) was filed August 1990, and expired August 2010 for a 20 year duration, not 10. Though I think Termidor has been available in Australia for a lot less than 20 years. It's 2012 already so where are all the generics? Word on the street is that a couple generic brands will be available later this year.

I think the author is out of touch. While he speaks of regret, and his guilt; he says very little of the reason for the side job. To pay our bills, The company pulls in 1 million plus each year, while the higharchy gets penthouses, and nice cars; the techs are the ones in the trenches with barely enough to pay for groceries. Most, are on public assistance. It's only after the author has THEIR very own company, which many out there can't afford, that the critism starts. Piosness here is misplaced, and I guarantee the author that his employees are doing side jobs.

Are you a crawl space home? If so & your ducts are underneath, you may have a tear in one and by simply repairing that, you'll solve the problem.

I have large black roches the size of Pomanto bugs coming up from my air vents, how can I treat this problem? I live in Tennessee and it dosen't mater if it's summer or winter. Can I spray my air vents and then close them off for two weeks? This problem started about a year and a half agi. I don't have any other kind of roches.

If you haven't used any red mouse baits then I'd say the mice got into a food or item in the home that has red in it. I've seen mice eat crayons, sweaters or clothing (red) that have produced the color but most often it is because of red mouse/rat bait or some red dye in foods we eat. The dropping are not sanitary at all so avoid contact with them and the baby.
