I feel your frustration. If it helps watch my video on ‘Trapping rats and mice’ it may give you some insight on how to place the traps which makes a huge difference.

I sort of agree with your husband..having a cat would be great until the mouse is gone. Try some of the traps in my article and if you still need help give me a shout- I’ll be happy to help.

We have a mouse that has outsmarted us for 3 months. I’m ready to try anything . I’ve even been contemplating adopting a cat, but my husband has vetoed that thus far. Grrr…. at the mouse, not my husband.

Necessity breeds invention– When you get him, send a pic and we’ll celebrate your victory. I remember a rat like that once. It took an all out assault with a covert operation but I got em.

I Think! The body was never found, just some fur and he disappeared.

First:
I am the Retired Electronic Engineer that will now take the time to invent the best Rat-mouse Trap to date! Why? For the first time I am now living in
this home where one Rat continues to try to chew it’s way through the wall at
the sub floor level!
When I bag my first Rat, I will perfect the Trap and find someone interested in building, manufacturing, marketing them, ha!
