In 1st method make sure you have big bucket, because mouse can vertical jump up to 12-inch.

You’ll love the outcome. The next morning I found the mouse in the trap. I thought it would sit tight till I finished getting ready for work. I came back and the mouse was gone. Boy, did I feel stupid.

So the lesson is to immediately remove the mouse in trap as soon as you spot it. Don’t count on the mouse to be polite while you postpone the deportation. The trap did work.

I’m sure my feline friend is relating the story to all her buddies in the neighborhood.

If you find friend cat in the bucket-you’ll know his curiosity trumped his psychology. Either way, this cat sounds a bit to smart and cocky. I’d watch him!

I’m house- and cat-sitting for friends. Their lovely cat likes to bring live birds and mice. She brought a mouse three nights ago. The mouse apparently eluded her. In any case, I’m trying the spinning can sans water. While I was constructing the apparatus, Friend Cat laying in the middle of the floor observed the proceedings with a feline “Whatever are you doing?” look.

I’ll let you know if I catch the mouse. I think this is an experiment in psychology that Friend Cat is playing on me. Don’t get me wrong: she’s a wonderful cat but does display a sense of humor.
